"I joined the Leaning Support department at Northgate in 2014 and I have developed my experience in supporting students with special educational needs across the whole school setting in many different areas such as specific learning difficulties, and physical and mental health needs. I began to specialise as a Teaching Assistant for the Sixth Form in 2018, and I have had the pleasure of supporting a variety of students with various needs in order to help them to reach their full potential. The Sixth Form team, as well as the Learning Support team which I maintain close links with, are passionate about offering tailored individual support to students with learning and medical needs, with student's well-being at the heart of the support offered. It is a privilege to be part of such a dedicated Sixth Form pastoral team and I find building up positive relationships I develop with each student I support very rewarding."
