Welcome to Northgate High School
Northgate's traditions go back to the early part of last century and we still place great emphasis on traditional values such as good behaviour, hard work, adherence to the uniform, high expectations and respect for others. We believe that these basics, mixed with stimulating teaching and learning, a strong pastoral support system and extensive extra-curricular opportunities, provide an environment in which our pupils and students can thrive.
The Northgate site is an impressive campus, with purpose-built centres maintained and equipped to the highest standards to meet the expectations and demands of today's pupils and students, their parents, and the wide-ranging timetable we offer. We also cater for the needs of the community in that we have joint-use Arts, Sports and Language Centres.
What we cannot show you here is our genuine desire to realise every youngster's full potential - as Ofsted put it in February 2008 'an outstanding and very happy school'.
