What do you enjoy about your courses?

In Photography I enjoy having a creative outlet and the opportunity to express myself in a visual way. In Media Studies I enjoy being able to talk openly and analytically with my class and having an opportunity to create original projects independently. In Law I enjoy learning about topics that are surprisingly important and reading up on interesting cases that impacted our laws.

Why did you choose these subjects to study?

I chose Photography as I’ve always been interested in presenting themes in such an impactful way visually; creating sets and costumes always sounded really fun to me. I chose Media Studies as I want a career in this industry and the coursework is very creative. I chose Law because it sounded very interesting, and I liked the topics.

Why did you choose to study at Northgate Sixth Form?

I had attended the high school so was familiar with the grounds, the teachers and the subjects offered. I was still craving a very structured environment for my studies and wanted to take a variety of subjects. I also liked the set up of the sixth form itself, giving students their own spaces for study and social times.
