Stream & Teams Student Guidance

Message from Miss Mackie to students about school closure, Friday 20 March 2020. To access the video, please use the following password: NorthgateFromHome.

We suggest that students structure their time working at home around their normal school timetable and complete the work that has been set for them. Go4Schools will be the main means by which class teachers will set tasks and help to structure learning. Guidance can be found here: Go4Schools. Please remember you can access this information via the Go4Schools website and app.

Students can save their work on OneDrive, instructions on how to do this can be found here: OneDrive. Further instructions on how to access the Learning Portal, OneDrive and Webmail can be found via the following link, using the password: NorthgateFromHome.

If students are emailing work to their teachers, there is a brilliant app called CamScanner, which can be downloaded onto a phone to scan a page, or multiple pages, into one pdf file. Mr Dawson has created a video demonstrating how easy the app is. This can be viewed here:

It is absolutely crucial that students know their full email address. Guidance on the format of email addresses can be found here: Email address guidance
